Golden Cheetah shows you the gear ratios you are using during your session, these values are calculated using speed, cadence, and the wheel circumference.

This chart lets you find the actual gear you used. Look up the front ring on the rows and then the rear cog on the columns. I have added the gears on my Shimano 11-28 Cassette as an example.
